It's Official...

I am now a Supervisor. Got me a little promotion. Woohoo! Just waiting for my new shirt to come in. It will be green and a little different than the shirts the regular staff wear. One of my first new duties...helping to decorate the store for...hold on to your shirts...Christmas. I personally think it is a bit early, but what do I know. So by the end of this week, we should be all prettied up for the season. And now you know...the rest of the story.

Ever have a snowmobile or dogsled go through the drive-thru?

JB said...

Wait a minute...
You mean, a snowmobile through the drive-thru isn't a normal run-of-the-mill thing in Timmins or South Porcupine?
You mean to tell me they have - gasp - CARS there?
...with, like - rubber tires? Okay, everybody must have chains on their tires, though, right?
Are you allowed outside after the sun goes down, or would you freeze on the spot iffen ya deed?

Oh, I forgot -
Congratulations on the promotion, girlie. Nice goin'.

You can go outside after dark (which is about 4pm in the winter), but you risk getting ett by a polar bar of a walrus, dontcha know?

JB, did your band ever play in Timmins, that you would remember through the haze of time?

JB said...

No, we only ever played in Canada.

No skidoos, but once in North Bay,we had a horse drawn carriage come through. You can make your own muffin jokes boys...

Ya mean like, "I'll have a large double double, and - ya got any road apples?"
That sort of joke?

...and of course I know you're in Canada. I was just teasing. I follow the news, you know. I remember when they created Nunavut for you guys.
